Thomas J. Stidham Jr.

Thomas J. Stidham Jr. age 65, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2016.
He was born in Corbin, Kentucky and was a US Army SP4 Veteran having been honorably discharged in 1974. Thomas received his Associate Degree in General Studies with High Honors from Macomb Community College in Warren, MI; and his Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in his Major of Political Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 2006, and was a fifteen year survivor of brain cancer.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Thomas J. Stidham, his grandparents, and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Thomas is survived by his Mother, Helen V. Jones Stidham of Warren, MI; Daughter, Jennifer J. Dossett (Jason Parton) of Richmond, MI; Son, Jason T. Stidham (Marina Marko) of Warren, MI; the Mother of his children, Denise A. Folkner of Warren, MI; Sister, Agnes J. Stidham of Waterford, MI; 11 Grandchildren; five Great Grandchildren; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday July 8, 2016 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin with military honors.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-9pm and on Friday from 10am until 11am at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where messages may be written to the family at www.vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
