Timothy Shaun Howard, age 42, of Corbin passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
Tim graduated from Madison Southern High School in 1991 where he was a member of the football team, the Industrial Arts Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
He was employed by Capital Wholesale Fence Company for over 10 years.
He was an avid racing enthusiast and one of the favorite local drivers at the Corbin Speedway, racing as Number 30 for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed his yearly hunting trips to Colorado with his dad and friends.
Tim made many wonderful and dear friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, William J. and Freda Howard of Corbin, Brenda and Billy Tillery of Berea; his daughter Elizabeth A. Howard and the love of his life, Andrea Gregory of London and stepson Aaron Sevier of Corbin; four sisters, Rebecca J. Howard of Berea, Ronda Wynn (Richard) of De Pere, Wisconsin, Jenni Griffith (Darrell) of Louisville and Michelle Howard of Louisville, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a time of visitation on Sunday, July 6 from 6 until 9pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home at 607 Master Street in Corbin. His funeral will be held there at 3:30pm Monday with Rev. Paula Farmer officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Howard Family Cemetery at Keavy, with Rev. Owen Moody officiating.
