Tom L Buchanan

Thomas L. Buchanan, age 91, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Baptist Health in Corbin. Born in Kenvir, Kentucky he was retired from Chrysler and was a US Marine veteran. Tom was preceded in death by his infant Son, Brett Buchanan; Parents, Archie Buchanan and Lola Dunn Dixon; Brothers, Eugene, Clifford, and Fred Buchanan; and by his Sisters, Margie Hamby, Rosella Horner, and Hazel Saylor. He is survived by his Wife, Vicki Buchanan; Children, Archie Buchanan (Mildred), Sharon Sams (Larry), Debbie Hernandez, and Marquette Rende (Steven); Sisters, Katherine and Helen; 12 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; as well as many friends. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Tom's funeral will be at 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Evarts Memorial Gardens in Evarts, Kentucky with military honors by the US Marine Corp.
