Trilbie Christine Elliott Adams Huff Allen, 76, of Gray, daughter of the late Jake and Minnie Johnson Elliott, born to them on May 26, 1929, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2006 at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Trilbie was a member of Gray Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers, John, Jakie, Walter, Tommy, Charles "Pete", Fred, Willard, Willis, Bill, and Jess Elliott, Lee and Robert "Bob" Moffett; one great-grandson, Daniel Meadows; husbands William Virgus Adams (1985), Edgar Johnny Huff (1994) and Lawrence Allen (2003).
She is survived by a son, Elmer Adams and wife Glenda of Gray; two daughters, Tina Nolen and husband Jerry of Gray and Nina Skinner of Corbin; two step-daughters, Sharon Watkins and husband Rev. Dan Watkins of Gray and Shelia Cooper of London; 13 grandchildren, Chris Adams, Britney Adams, Whitney Adams of Gray, Jerry Nolen of Gray, Elisha Farmer of Corbin, Brian Skinner and wife Amanda of Douglasville, Georgia, Aaron and Dustin Skinner of Corbin, Amy Meadows and husband Barry of Gray, Angela Disney and husband Kevin of Gray, Anthony Watkins and wife Sarah of Gray, John Cooper of London, Lora Cooper of London; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Linnie Elliott of Gray; special friends Dodie Mills, Leona McCreary and Nora Phipps; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 4 pm Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Kersey and Rev. Dan Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Gray Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Sunday, March 26, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
