Trula Edna Rose

Trula Edna Rose, age 81, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Pineville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Hurst and Cynthia Susie Partin Hurst. Trula is remembered as a good mother who loved everyone and always put others before herself. She enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Fuson; grandchildren, Kayla Myers and Michelle Rose; brothers, Charlie Hurst, Lawrence Hurst, Clarence Hurst, Finely Hurst, and Henry Partin; sisters, Sadie Baxley, Annie Adkins, and Lizzie McKiddy; and great grandson, Nicholas Raylee Manes.
She is survived by two daughters, Juanita Rose and Stephanie Fuson; grandchildren, Cameron Myers, Shaylynn Myers, Jacob Myers, and Nick Manes; great grandchild, Heather Manes; special nieces and nephews, Tex Hurst, Sandra Hurst, and Ernest McKiddy; sister-in-law, Jessie Hurst; and by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Trula will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky.
