Vera Valdean Phipps

Evangelist Vera Valdean Rose Phipps, age 73, of Gray, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 26, 2007 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Rossland Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Guy Annavelle Rose and Oma Mae Turner Rose; Two Brothers, Charles and Carter Rose, Sister, Marlana Rose; Two Grandchildren, Vanessa Marie Lawson and Marlana Sue Mullins; Great Granddaughter, Rose Phipps.
She is survived by her Husband of 53 years, Will Phipps; Children, Joanne Phipps of Williamsburg, Barbara Sanchez and husband Javier of Florida, Larry Phipps of Corbin, Dale Phipps and wife Patty of Gray; 14 Grandchildren; Host of Great Grandchildren; Brother, James Rose of Westview, KY; Two Sisters, Elsie Reynolds of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Delma Peek of Hardinsburg, KY; Special Friend, George Hoskins and wife Wanda of Westview, KY.
Funeral service will be on Monday at 3pm at the Rossland Holiness Church in Gray with Rev. R.P. Edwards and Rev. Claude Medlin Officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Cemetery in Gray.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home and on Monday from 2pm until the time of the service at 3pm at the Rossland Holiness Church.
