Viola Smith Buckley

Viola Smith Buckley, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Smith and Lillie Mae Rhodes Sawyers; and by her sister, Christine Root-Tucker.
She is survived by three brothers: George Henry Smith of Corbin, Maven Sawyers of Corbin, and Alpha Sawyers Jr. (Faith) of Warren, Michigan; two sisters: Mayetta Beaumont(Terry) of Corbin, and Cleta Gross (Jimmy) of Corbin; son, Bill Sawyers of Corbin; and daughter, Karen Lindsey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be at 7 pm on Friday, Dec. 12, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
