Violet Bryant Felts, age 87, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Born in Gatliff, Kentucky on June 24, 1937, to the late James Riggs and Myrtle Monhollen Riggs, Violet was a beacon of faith, love, and kindness, who touched the lives of everyone she met.
Violet lived a fulfilling life as a homemaker and she was an extraordinary woman of faith, whose love for her family knew no bounds. Violet's unwavering faith in God was evident in her daily life, providing a shining example to all around her. She was dearly loved by her husband, children, and family.
She is survived by her husband, Hiram Felts; children, G.B. Bryant Jr and wife April, Greg Bryant, Vicki Mitchell and husband David, and Samuel Bryant and wife Melody; step-daughter, Carol Parsons and husband Donnie; 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and by one great great grandson; sister, Perlie June Fox, and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
Violet was preceded in death by her first husband, G. B. Bryant; daughters, Sharon Lawson and Lisa Setser; sons, Alfred Bryant and Jerry Bryant; siblings, Henry Riggs, Walter Rigs, George Riggs, Hattie Bryant, her twin sister, Rosie Deaton, Lou Combs, Lucy Riggs, Willie Riggs, and by infant siblings, Jessie and David.
