Violet Felts Rogers

Violet Felts Rogers, 85, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at The Heritage.
Born in Corbin, Violet was the daughter of the late Faxton Felts and Delia Lanham Felts. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Rogers; son Ricky Rogers; brothers Vincent, Jack, Troy, Coy and Shirley Felts; and sisters Loretta, Zoretta and Naomi Felts.
She is survived by grandchildren: Shantaine Barton (Brandon), J. D. Rogers (Bettina), Richie Rogers (Emily), and Jennifer Rogers; several great-grandchildren; brothers Hiram Felts and Lonnie Felts; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends, including special loving niece Victoria Felts.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon Wednesday, September 25, 2019, until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm at the Dorthae Pentecostal Church. Rev. Billy Evans will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
