Virgil Dexter Williams

Virgil Dexter Williams, age 78, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away October 21, 2006 in Indianapolis.
A loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend, he was born on December 8, 1927 in Pineville, KY to the late Henry Williams and Myrtle Hoover Williams. He was retired from the former Merico Foods in Indianapolis where he worked for over 29 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister, Iva Lee Hufnagel.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Collins Williams; Daughters, Donna Gerholdt and husband Kevin, Connie Reed and husband David Sr., Sherry Williams and husband Jimmie, and Krissy; One Son, Keith Williams; Brother, Harold Williams; Brother-in-law, Floyd Hufnagel; Grandchildren, Joshua Gerholdt, Harold Reed Jr., Alan Thomas, James Graves, Nancy Scott and husband Davyell, Heather Thomas, Dexter, Zachary, Travis, and Amanda Williams; Great Grandchildren, Alisha Scott and Brayden Hutchinson. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery in South Corbin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12noon until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
