Vivian Marie Whittamore

Vivian Marie Burke Whittamore, age 72, of Latonia, KY passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, KY.
Born in Corbin, Ky she was the daughter of the late Effie Barton Burke, and Lincoln and Dorothy Burke. She was an avid movie fan, having a collection of hundreds. She was a great cook, and enjoyed sharing her homecooked meals with her community. Vivian is remembered by her family as a very kindhearted women, who never hesitated to help someone in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, sisters, Susan Reeves, Beverly Herbe, and Rita Burke. Vivian is survived by her, daughters, Christal Lambert of London, KY, Betty Belcher of London, KY, Patricia Bess of Lexington, KY, and Rosie Roerick of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Rick Whittamore of Somerset, KY, and James Stacey III of Lexington, KY; sisters, Janice Burke of Miami, FL, Geraldine Burke of Independence, KY, Sharon Baker, of London, KY, Melissa Gray of Rockholds, KY, Crystal Croley of Williamsburg, KY, and Jeanette Garrett of Woodbine, KY; brothers, Billy Burke of Florence, KY, Michael Burke of Amelia, OH, Earl Burke of Florence, KY, Randy Burke of Charlotte, NC, Garrett Burke of Corbin, KY, David Burke of Woodbine, KY, and Darryl Coffman of Bradfordsville, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 12noon on Wednesday, October 20th with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY.
