Walter Lee Barnett

Walter Lee Barnett, 62, of Gray, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Bell County, he was the son of the late Earnest and Lela McMullen Barnett. He was a HVAC installer for Sun Rise Heating and Cooling. He attended Garmeda Baptist Church in Middlesboro and Grace on the Hill in Corbin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, National Guard, and the Reserves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Barnett.
He is survived by three children: Thomas Barnett of Barbourville, Karen Barnett of Gray, and Chris Barnett of Gray; five grandchildren; and siblings, Carolyn Dyson, Janice Brown and Earl Barnett.
Graveside service will be held on June 16, 2009 at 2pm at the Hensley Chapel Cemetery in Middlesboro with Military Honors by American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
