Walter Lincoln Sazima

Walter Lincoln Sazima, age 64, of Keavy, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Born in Cuyahoga County, OH, he was a son to the late John Sazima and Janice Stodota Sazima. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked in security for Texas Instruments.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Tracy Owens, Linda Ann Sazima Hammond, Nick Sazima, William Shifflett, Eugene Shifflett, and Janice Sazima.

He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Sazima; siblings, Brenda Burkley, Donald Freese (Christine), Bruce Smith (Diane), Leslie Shifflett; good friend, Phyllis McAdams; and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 8pm with Pastor Carlos Castelan officiating.

Entombment at Weddle Family Cemetery in Keavy, KY will be held at a later date.
