Wanda Faye LeForce, 76, of Woodbine passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She belonged to the Corn Creek Baptist Church and had participated in missionary work with the Church. She had been a member of Mommas On The Move, the West Knox Wild Game Club, and a firefighter with the Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department.
A native of Bell County, Wanda was a daughter of the late Oscar and Violet Peace Pursiful. Her first husband James Ralph Brittain and two brothers Roger and Jimmy Pursiful also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Milford LeForce; children, Phillip Brittain, Kathy Campbell and husband Clayton, Connie Thompson and husband John, Pamela Smith and husband Ron, and James Brittain; grandchildren, Melissa New, Angie McNeil, Chris Thompson, Josh Thompson, Crystal Hall, Vanessa Cutter, Laura Smith, Tasha Yager, and Tiffanie Mayes; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry, Sonny, Danny, and David Pursiful; sisters, Donna Pursiful, Janet Cabbage, Alleen Nelson, and Phyllis Cramer; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, as well as her Church family.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9pm Tuesday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Her funeral will be 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Decker and Rev. Les Ellison officiating.
Burial will be at the Corn Creek Cemetery with family members and friends serving as pallbearers.
