William D. Monhollen

William "Bill" D. Monhollen, 55, of Dowis Chapel Road, Woodbine, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born November 15, 1948 in Knox County to the late Rich and Cora Lee Monhollen, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Byers.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Temple and had worked for the Frost Coal Company as a miner and heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife Linda Rapier Monhollen of Woodbine; his daughter, Deborah Monhollen of Woodbine; sons, William Monhollen Jr. of Woodbine and Branson Monhollen of Woodbine; two grandchildren, Miranda Monhollen of Corbin and McKenzie Hackler of Woodbine; his mother-in-law, Betty Rapier of Greenville, Ohio; sisters, Joann Terrell of Woodbine, Sue Westerfield & husband Henry of Lily, and Ernestine Smiddy & husband Ken of Corbin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 pm Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Trinity Baptist Temple with Rev. Henry Westerfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Monhollen Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday and from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm at the Trinity Baptist Church. The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
