William "Paul" Stott, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of the late William Stott and Eliza Bolton Stott. He was a US Army veteran and POW in World War II. He was a self-employed Diesel Mechanic; later he enjoyed horse trading, and he was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Williamsburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first Wife Clara Scott and by a Daughter, Paulette Sirrer.
He is survived by his Wife, Mary Swafford Stott; Children, William Bill Stott and wife Janet, Johnny Stott and wife Colleen, and Rosemary Stott; Eight Grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Elaine Stott; Step-son, James Knuckles; Seven step-grandchildren; and many family and friends including, Sister-in-law, Helen Perkins.
Funeral service will be at 1pm on Monday, September 29, 2008, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery - Davis Addition in Williamsburg.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Sunday, September 28th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
