William Taylor III, age 40, of Woodbine, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
William was an ordained minister with The Church of God of the Union Assembly. He was the current pastor of the Salyersville Church of God of the Union Assembly and was the current Chaplain for the City of Corbin City. William was also a salesman for Carpet Country in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, B.C. and Lillie Bell Faulknor; Lorene and William Taylor Sr.; and Carl and Nancy Freeman.
William is survived by his Wife, Dennita Taylor; Son, William Alexander Taylor; Daughter, Hannah Taylor; Mother, Nancy Freeman Taylor; Father, William Taylor Jr.; Sister, Pam Taylor; Mother and Father in law, Larry and Rita Minchew; Sister in law, Christi Minchew; Brothers in law, LaFrandin Minchew (Amy Shoemaker and her daughter Sarah), Randall Minchew (Britani Warmack), Josh Minchew (Audrey Ledford), and Tyler Minchew; Nephews, Devin, Rylan, Draiden, Xavier, Steven, and Ryder; and by a host of Aunts, Uncles, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 4-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Visitation will also be held on Monday from 11am until the time of his funeral at 2pm at the Magoffin Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky
