Wilma B. Crook, age 84, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was born on April 20, 1920 in Corbin to the late Sam Brafford and Laura Pfoff Brafford.
She was a retired Chief Operator and Manager for South Central Bell. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband Roland; One Brother, Ray Brafford and One Sister, Geneva Hodge.
She is survived by one Son, Bill Crook and his wife Sharon of Corbin; Three Grandchildren, Scott Crook and his wife Cindy of Lexington, Jeff Crook and his wife Becky of Georgetown, and Mindy Crook Minton and her husband Chad of Corbin; Four Great Grandchildren, Gracie, Dylan, Jackson, and Carson Crook; Three Sisters, Blanche Bryant of Bradenton, FL, Mary Faye Farris and Maureen Jones both of Louisville.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
