Wilma Cleda Noe

Wilma Cleda Sams McVey Noe, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at UKMC in Lexington.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Joe Sams and Lillie Mae Hill Sams. Wilma was a Christian that was good to the world around her and loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands James McVey and Stanley Noe; brother Clifford Sams; sister-in-law Jeanette Sams; and great-grandson Jonathan Brandenburg.
She is survived by her children: LaDeana Davis (Phillip), Marla Wright (Mickey), Kaloyd McVey (Goldie), Joe McVey (Ruth), and Joe Kivette (Darla); grandchildren: Debra McVey, Phillip Davis, Miki Strunk, Beverly Brandenburg, Kaloyd "Bo" McVey, C.J. McVey, Megan McVey, Joe McVey, Christy Ann McVey, Jessica Kivette and Joshua Kivette; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Arthur Sams, Faye Mercer (Bob), Hubert Sams (Margie), and JoAnn Keith (Philip); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends; sister-in-law Donola Sams; and  special family members Kelsay Davis, Alexis Strunk, Ethan Strunk, Hayden Davis, Hadley Davis, and Shirley Moore.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 29, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Proffitt officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
