Wilma D. Bernardo

Wilma D. Bernardo, age 79, of Corbin passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at the Heritage.
She was a retired Administrative Assistant at Farmers Bank and Trust in Georgetown, KY; a homemaker, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin.
Wilma was preceded in death by her Husband, James T. Bernardo and by a Son, John Angelo Bernardo.
She is survived by two Sons, James Thomas Bernardo of Cumberland, KY,  and Robert Walker Bernardo and wife Anita of Hebron, KY; Daughter-in-law, Alesia Coscia Bernardo; four Grandchildren, Alex, Ross, Tony, and Katie Bernardo; Brother, Bruno Damioli of Bloomfield Hills, MI; Sister Zita Jones of Lexington; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2pm on Friday, October 8, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin with Father Joe Koury celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Church Cemetery in Jellico.
Visitation will be from 11am until 1:30pm on Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
