Yvonne Cornett Sanders

Yvonne Cornett Sanders, age 60 of Corbin passed away on Tuesday September 4, 2018 in Corbin.
She was born in Hazard a daughter to the late Wilson Cornett and Nancy Jane Baker Cornett.  Yvonne had worked at Aisin in Lily.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Curtis Sanders Sr; Granddaughter, Maile Sanders; Brothers, Elmer and Rufus Cornett; and by her Sisters, Carol Sue Shepherd, Annalene Williams, and Gail Harwood.
Yvonne is survived by her Son, Shawn Sanders and wife Samantha; Step-sons, Curtis Sanders Jr. and wife Tammy, and Letch Day and wife Angie; Step-daughter, Anna Duff and husband Pete; Brothers, Milford Cornett, Rondal Cornett and wife Nadine, and Wilson Cornett Jr, all of Yeaddiss, KY;  Sisters, Judith Cornett of Hazard, Evelyn Nash and husband Bill of Corbin, Wanda Roark and husband Lloyd of Essie, KY, and Jayna Wooten of Wooten, KY; Grandchildren, Anela Sanders, Kaili Sanders, Gabrielle Sanders, Koa Sanders,  Blake Sanders, Chase Sanders, Amanda Duff, Justin Duff, Olivia Day, Brandon Day, and Kaitlyn Wilson; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service for Yvonne Sanders will be held at 11am on Friday, September 7, 2018,  at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Disney officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Cornett Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday September 6th at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
