Zella Marie Cox

Zella Marie Cox, age 89, of Corbin passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born at Gray, KY she was the daughter of the late Breckenridge and Oma Katherine Martin.  In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Cox and grandsons Michael Eugene Smith, and Skyler and Tyler Cox.
Zella had been a devoted caregiver to her family and enjoyed tending her yard and flowers.
She is survived by a daughter Sandra Kay Williams;  sons Harley Wayne Cox (Jackie), Kenneth Ray Cox (Barbara), and Leland Dale Cox;  a grandson she raised, Dale Lee Slone;  and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Her visitation will begin at 11 am Tuesday, September 4, 2018,  at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow there at 1 pm. with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.   Burial will be in the George Cox Cemetery on Hazel Fork Road at Gray.
