Zelma Irene Monhollen

Zelma Irene Monhollen, 45, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
Born March 16, 1959 in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Sallie May Wynn Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Linda Taylor, Betty Joyce & Margaret Johnson.
Zelma believed in the Holiness faith and she was a cook at the Plaza Truck Stop.
She is survived by her husband James Monhollen; two daughters, Zelma Marie Monhollen of Corbin and Jamey Lynn Honeycutt of Gray; grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Monhollen, Devin Matthew Honeycutt and Ashley Paige Honeycutt; brothers, Kenneth Lawson of Corbin, Jerry Lawson of Williamsburg, Johnny Lawson of Barbourville, and Tony Lawson of London.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleas Monhollen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
