My dear sweet friend. You were always there for me growing up and continued to be there for me throughout the years. You were a source of strength and a rock that we all leaned on. You will never be forgotten - I will miss hearing you tell me that you love me - but your light and love will remain in my heart until we are reunited. I love you Deana Kay.

My dear, precious and loving friend....words cannot describe how much I am going to miss you! I will remember and cherish our "girl times" when we all would get together. I will always be your "Little Treasure" (as you called me that)...may you rest in peace. I know I will see you once again...my thoughts and prayers are with each of your family. It's going to be so hard saying my last good-bye to you.

To Betty, Jessica, Zach, Reagan and Audrey,
You were without a doubt Deana's life. She was devoted to you and I am so very sorry for your loss. I am praying for your comfort and peace.
Deana was simply the best. She had a sass that never failed to put a smile on your face. I loved to talk and chat with her about anything. She cut right to the chase, no holes barred. Deana was so loved. I can never recall anybody fighting with her or saying something bad about her ever. She was a magnet for people. People were just drawn to her. You always you knew you were going to have a fun time if Deana was around. She never tried to be the center of attention, but she was, she just had that personality.
Almost every morning, for years, I have opened my FB to see a like or comment from Deana. This morning there was nothing and I realized how much I am going to miss her. My nephew was at EKU at the same time Zach has been going and Deana has kept me updated all 4 years as to what was happening. I appreciated it so much. We had many discussions about EKU. We talked about happenings in Corbin, she kept me up on the news there too. We talked about grandchildren, something I never thought we would talk about!! High School days, Proms and reunions, every time I got to see her in person, it was though I never left for even a day.
We lost so many so early. I still cannot believe all that have gone. The grief is overwhelming at times. I know that Tracy, Robyn, and Deana are back together and tearing it up! Heaven help them. I loved them all dearly and was blessed to call them my friends.
